Even My Worst Day Was Wonderful

Why I love the country life!!! With views like this going to work, makes you realize how blessed we are!!! A friend told me Saturday night and today "Even my worst day was wonderful"... He and I had been catching up on the past 20 years since high school... Then today it really hit me.. No matter how bad things may seem at different times in life, I'm still alive. I'm healthy. I'm breathing. Even though I had a dilemma with the plumbing for a week and was ready to cry, I have a place I call home. There is a roof over my head to keep me out of the weather. I have a warm bed with a pillow and blankets instead of concrete sidewalk, a park bench, cardboard box, or insulation wrapped in plastic ( as Jimmy Wayne did as a homeless teenager ). There's lights and electricity so I don't have to sleep in the darkness of night (yes I have a night light, don't laugh). I have the means to store and prepare my meals. A washer and dryer to keep my clothes clean. And a warm shower instead of a freezing river to bathe in.. It is the simple things we take for granted in life!!!! We are all one thing away in our life that could pull the rug out from under us...
